CPRIT has published FAQs, available at www.cprit.texas.gov, to provide grantees with guidance related to the COVID-19 outbreak. New FAQs were released April 3, 2020, about the use of grant funds related to some personnel, travel and conference registration expenses that would not normally qualify for reimbursement.
CPRIT ARS – Current Funding Opportunities
Laboratory, clinical, or population-based studies are all acceptable. CPRIT expects the outcome of the research to reduce the incidence, morbidity, or mortality from cancer in children and/or adolescents in the near or long term. Competitive renewal applications accepted. Award: Up to $350,000 per year.

CPRIT has funded 1,576 awards for cancer research, product development, and prevention since 2010. The total amount awarded thus far is $2,641,125,485. Recipients of CPRIT awards include 115 academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and private companies all located in Texas.
