For Pitch Music it all actually started long ago - in 1995, when it's founder Vitaly Nazmov opened Pitch Record Store in Moscow city.

The first box of records was opened on his knees (he still does open boxes like that). It was Chicago House, deep warm soul of cold Chicago. At first there were not many records and they were sold very fast and from hands. "Little store" started to grow and in 1998 - right in a heart of the city, in a stylish underground basement, Pitch became one of the most influential and popular hotspots among people obsessed with dance culture. To come there all the time was sort of being a part of "cool people's club"- from groovy youth to the fat of the land in Russian club scene, including the best Russian DJs, such as Groove, Fonar, Sapunov, Fish, Kolya, Sanches, Grad. Analog, then digital, then gear: to spread the seeds of good music on the best Russian dance floors.

Web page - www.pitch.ru, with whirlpools of words in forums, where every release in the world is discussed as it would be the last one, was profoundly built and supported by a big fan of electronic culture and computer innovations Dima Cox, reflecting the uniqueness and the legend Pitch carried, but inside of the world web.

That could be enough, but Pitch - a perpetuum mobile, burning with the desire to be a part of the intellectual future of music of wires, regardless, continued to search and feel, that development is natural and expansion of borders of creation is infinite, in fact there is the whole ocean of potential in this northern country, not only for understanding, but also for creation.

And Vitaly has started to search for musicians capable not only to love, but also to write and produce electronic music. So at Pitch have appeared Confusion. A duet. Later there was only a sound producer whom vocalist Vadim has joined. So were based Triangle Sun. Then a lounge festival in Moscow took place - the competition organized by well-known compilation Cafe del Mar. They have won and have gone to perform, giving a sound to the waves washing over legendary Ibiza. For the first time in history of Cafe Del Mar musicians played live.

This event could assign the first step on a way to basis of Pitch Music Publishing - the music publishing company which have plunged the further search, production and promotion of the Russian electronic sound.

In 2004 Grigory and Anthony have brought fresh, sexy and at the same time deep progressive. Their remix on Mike Brin " Never again " has soon been played by Hernan Cataneo and signed to a label Masthtronic. Successful sets in clubs and mixes on radio - the excellent proof of many-sided nature and talent of young men.

After, in 2005, have appeared Bluestorm, spilling indigo strings and saffron pads on well structured chrome beats taken over by aqua-marine female voice. For Pitch it is a projuct of "different kind", carrying away sound from dance floors to live performances, radio waves, and slowing down bpm of tracks to a state of a simple song.

2006 - Pitch takes part in the world's largest international musical festival Midem, Cannes, and not without an effort of, at the moment, PR manager Anastasia Orlova, brings a success home, along with contracts with record labels and DJs.

For last year a lot of magnificent, intellectual and definitely stylish musicians have joined from different parts of the country. Soaring in air Silent Brothers, similar to ocean Lokitas, iFrolov with its twilight fog, impudent and full of provocations Russian Mafia, elastic as ?????? Mind Jammer and thoughtful Mood Boys.The list keeps on growing. And Pitch, community of dedicated people, keeps growing strong.

Pitch Music Company was found in 1995, right when the club culture started to take place in Russia, as one of the first specialized and authorized record stores in Moscow. The major priority of the company is a distribution of musical audio products in digital and analogue format as well as any professional equipment, clothes and accessories for DJs and musicians.

Within the eight years of activity, company has become one of the largest and most respected sale outlets on the market of audio products, as well as a guide to the world of electronic music. Many well known local artists and DJs started their career with 'tunes' purchased from Pitch record store.

In parallel with a fast enhancement of a quality international electronic music in Russia, in just a few years Pitch transformed from a small specialized record store to the most influential record hotspots in Moscow and became a well known brand in the sphere of globalization of dance music scene.

Concerned about a gap in electronic music sector on the local market, Pitch provided the Godsend solution to the local artists by setting up an in-house music production studio.
