Pitch Music Publishing presents "Skiff" from Jane Maximova.
«Skiff» first appeared in Jane Maximova's debute album «Wabi Sabi» released in May 2010. The track really stands out and is worth to be released as single.
"The tune has been created all in a breath. Beat, harmony, melodic passages – everything seemed to be flowing out one of the other. So, I just trusted the flow and let it go. Even the title came from the casual phrase being dropped during vocal part recording. Then just a few tints and effects… There was a very fascinating immerse into the image creation,"- Jane Maximova says.
The remix contest launched on PROMODJ.RU with support of DJTrade company was no less fascinating: unexpected number of participants and more than 4000 downloads of the original track.
The single consists of three stunning and intense parts and include series of remixes from winners Aspecta from Ekaterinburg, Russia (1st place), Sound Quelle from Toljatti, Russia (2nd place), Audio Teq from Sochi, Russia (3rd place), VictorDacof from Ukraine (4th place), Aknael from Moldova (5th place), as well as from other participants of the contest. Each part has special concept and atmosphere and will be released on our labels Pitch Music, Deep Tune and Oblik Records accordingly.
